Hello there to my faithful followers. Just updating you on my business happenings. Just over two years ago, my sister, Karmelle, brought me her vinyl machine and supplies so I could run ExpressionsByElle for her until she was ready for it back. During this time, she had another baby and is currently looking at moving into a bigger house. Hopefully this will happen soon for her and her family.
In the meantime, I have loved this business and meeting all of my wonderful customers, even if it was just over email! : ) I learned that I CAN do graphic design without too many problems, and that it's actually fun. LOL! I do love the design side of this business, but I also love creating and seeing the finished vinyl orders come to life. Each vinyl sign is so unique, and I love seeing that uniqueness come through with my customers' finished project photos. Vinyl makes it so easy to create beautiful things! Yay for creativity!!
Well, now it's time to hand the business back to Karmelle. I will be taking the machine and supplies back down to her, in Southern Utah, in June. That's coming up so quickly!! I want to say THANKS! to each of you for your support in my home-based business. I really have loved doing this and will miss it. I'm also excited for the extra time I'll now have with my growing family. So it really is a win-win situation.
Karmelle has a natural talent at creating beautiful and trendy vinyl signs, so please check her out as she starts this up again. She would love to have your business, and she will take good care of your desires to bring beauty into your home. It may take a few months for her to "get back on her feet" so to speak, but she'll be here. Thanks for your support!! And keep CREATING!!!!

New Family Name Signs
I had a wedding reception to go to last Saturday evening and needed a quick gift for the new couple. Here's what I came up with. I LOVE it!
The great thing about this design is that it can be used in so many different ways: street address signs, graduation or class reunion decorations/signs, mailbox signs, etc. So fun to dress them up.
I'm also going to put together some designs with the alphabet using the same idea as the numbers in this picture. Separate them and put people's names in them (first or last names); use them as a monogram to dress up your front door or add it to your girl's/boy's room. So many fun ideas. They'd look great on tiles!
This frame costs $30 (+ tax if you live in ID). Or just buy the vinyl to add to your own surface (wood, wall, window, mirror, your own frame, etc): $10.50 (+ tax if you live in ID).

Love is in the air
Hello everyone! One of my neighbors, who is an amazing woman, sent this picture to me. She ordered some vinyl from me to put on the candles she makes here on her organic farm. (She also makes lotions, lip blams, soap, and other great things all from natural products). You can check out her other great products at Orchard Farm. Who knew something so simple would create something so cute? I LOVE vinyl!! And what a great idea for Valentine's Day.

What's in a design?
Just wanted to share with you a couple of new designs (or ideas) that I created. One of my good friends told me about this first one. This is what I came up with and thought it turned out super cute. What I like most about it, is that you can read it both ways: LOVE, friendship on fire; or Friendship on fire: LOVE. Thanks, Joni, for the great idea! Just another great way to spruce up your "old" picture frames.
These other three are magnetic signs I came up with for grad gifts. I thought they all turned out great, and the best thing about them is that they are multi-functional, personal, boys or girls will love them, and will look good in any room. I LOVE how the butterflies and stars make you realize that Brianne is growing up and moving onto bigger and better things. They are 10"x10" and cost $15 (includes up to two colors of vinyl) + ID tax.
